About Evariste Systems

Evariste Systems LLC is a software company specialising in open source-focused VoIP service delivery engineering for Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs) and carriers. We are based in Athens, Georgia, USA, a university town close to Atlanta.

Historically, our pedigree is in software infrastructure consulting for the VoIP industry. We've worked extensively with wholesale and retail SIP origination and termination providers, voice application providers, and Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs). Over the years, we came to specialise in building and integrating high-performance, cost-effective platforms for core routing, call accounting, and trunk billing & rating.

The origins of CSRP lie in this background in the carrier-oriented side of the industry. As we found ourselves repeatedly engaged to architect and build SIP trunking service delivery platforms of some description, we identified a clear market gap to be filled. After additional research and prototyping, we began product development in earnest in early 2010. You can read more about how and why CSRP came about here.

Since 2007, much of our work is indebted to Kamailio, an open-source SIP proxy and SIP server project for high-performance applications. Our principal is a member-in-council of the Kamailio management board, a frequent contributor to the user community mailing lists, and the author of numerous patches and documentation revisions. More broadly, as an official ASIPTO partner, we continue to contribute to the promotion and commercial development of Kamailio in the North American market. We have participated in the Kamailio World conference in Berlin since its inception, and will continue to do so in the future.
